Facts about PENGUIN

Penguins are flightless birds that live almost exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere. These remarkable swimmers use their flipper-like wings to propel themselves through water with incredible speed and agility. Most penguin species are found in Antarctica and sub-Antarctic regions, though some live in temperate climates along the coasts of South America, Africa, and Australia. Penguins are highly social animals that live in large colonies and communicate through distinctive calls and body language. They feed primarily on fish, squid, and krill, diving deep into the ocean to hunt. Emperor penguins are the largest species and can dive deeper than any other bird. Penguins have a thick layer of blubber and densely packed feathers that keep them warm in freezing waters. These birds are known for their upright posture and waddling gait on land, which makes them instantly recognizable and beloved by people worldwide.
