Facts about BEE

Bees are among nature's most important pollinators, visiting millions of flowers daily to collect nectar and pollen. A single bee colony can contain up to 60,000 individual bees working together in perfect harmony.

Honeybees communicate through an intricate dance language, where they perform specific movements to tell other bees exactly where to find food sources. They can fly at speeds up to 15 miles per hour and visit up to 50 flowers in a single foraging trip.

A bee's wings beat approximately 200 times per second, creating the distinctive buzzing sound we hear. Despite their small size, bees are incredibly strong and can carry loads equal to their own body weight.

Bees have been pollinating plants for over 100 million years, making them essential to the survival of countless plant species and the food systems that depend on them. Without bees, many of the fruits, vegetables, and nuts we eat would disappear.
